Standard models ship within 4 weeks after deposit, and the date is confirmed in writing with each order.

Q1. What are the dimensions, and how much can I grow?
A: External size is 1829 x 3048 mm (6 x 10 ft), giving 5.6 m2 (60 sq ft) of growing space and a ridge height of [H mm]. That is enough for two long raised beds with a central path, or a row of grow bags plus shelving along one side for pots and seed trays.
Q2. Why polycarbonate rather than glass?
A: Twin-wall polycarbonate is much lighter and far more impact-resistant than glass, so it survives hailstones and garden knocks without shattering into large shards. The twin-wall structure traps air between the layers, which insulates better than single-pane glazing and diffuses light to reduce scorching on young plants.
Q3. What base does it need, and do I have to anchor it?
A: A greenhouse must stand on a firm, level base - a concrete slab, paving slabs or a timber frame on bearers - so the frame does not twist and the door keeps running straight. Because polycarbonate greenhouses are light, anchor the base rail to the ground with the supplied fixings or ground anchors, especially on exposed or coastal sites.
Q4. How long does assembly take?
A: Two people can build it in about 3 hours using the pre-drilled frame and numbered panels, and the polycarbonate sheets are light enough to lift without a second ladder. You will need a screwdriver or drill, a spanner and gloves, and a calm, dry day for fitting the roof sheets.
Q5. Will it get too hot, and how do I ventilate it?
A: A greenhouse this size needs airflow to stop heat building up, so use the roof vent together with the open door, and add shading in midsummer so plants do not scorch. [State what is included, e.g. one roof vent and a louvre window.]
