Q:1.What are the exact dimensions, and what fits inside?
A:External size is 1786 × 1160 × 1898 mm (about 5.9 × 3.8 × 6.2 ft), giving a footprint of roughly 2.0 m² and a ridge height just under 1.9 m. That is ample room for two bicycles, a walk-behind mower, long-handled garden tools and stacked storage boxes - note that full height sits at the roof ridge, while the eaves are lower.
Q:2.What is it made of, and will it rust?
A:The walls are 0.25 mm galvanised colour steel panels fixed to a 0.5 mm steel frame, so the shed resists rust far better than untreated metal and will not rot, warp or need repainting the way timber does. A once-a-year check of the fixings and door tracks is all the maintenance this build asks for.
Q:3.Does it need a base?
A:Yes - the shed has no floor of its own, so it must stand on a firm, level surface such as a concrete slab, paving slabs or a timber deck. A level base keeps the panels square and the doors closing properly, while uneven ground is the main cause of door misalignment.
Q:4.How long does assembly take?
A:Two people can build it in around 2–3 hours using the pre-drilled, numbered panels and the illustrated instructions. You will need a screwdriver or drill, a step ladder and gloves, and we recommend anchoring the base rail to your slab so the shed stays put in high winds.
